How to Set Up an Online Shop

In March 2020 the global pandemic was in full swing and it left a lot of brick and mortar stores scrambling. To survive, a lot of retail businesses had to quickly figure out how to get their products online.

In response to that, I teamed up with NewTown Macon and graphics & web designer Erica Neubauer to provide small businesses an overview of how to build a successful online store – quickly!

In the video I cover how to write an effective product description, how to stage photos, and what online platforms to consider given your product needs. Erica Neubauer gives you step-by-step instructions on how to set up an online shop using Shopify and SquareSpace and provides recommendations for WordPress users.
